Raury isn’t a large mainstream voice in hip-hop at the moment. So I’m going to make a few introductory posts for his music. I’m going to showcase the 5 most essential songs in Raury’s catalog, in my humble opinion.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Raury is an outspoken Atlanta musician. His style is a unique combination of folk, hip-hop, and pop music. He also has a light sound , and a heart warming attitude. Even though he is cheerful, Raury doesn’t shy away from political issues and social commentary. Although sometimes I don’t agree with his message, Raury brings enough of a fresh spin on the folk and hip-hop genres to get me interested in what he is doing. I also could see him as having a lot of potential going into the future.
