Thanks to Hip Hop 4 Flint for shining the spotlight back on the events happening in Flint Michigan. Its really easy to forget about these kinds of problems in our current society. However its people like them that are striving and doing the best they can whatever their personal beliefs and ideologies are do aid people voluntarily is re-inspiring.
I wanted to pass the light that they shined to me, to shine it to you so you can see and have a chance to do something. There are people that feel that they do not have the funds to do anything to help. That’s only true when its one individual but if many people do a little it becomes alot. The world is the way it is today not really because of the big things and or moments, its the little ones. So just think of it as an opportunity cost, you can easily side step that extra Arizona(1$ ) or Big Texas Cinnamon bun(1$).(Yes, I am using things I like to eat)
Alot of times people feel all they can do is give momentary aid. However that is not the only aid you can give, you can share messages like this, share the Flint site (Hip Hop 4 Flint). Attend the Hip Hop (concerts with local artist) and other similar events that help the community or do charitable works. I know many times people tell me they can’t see how it helps but it does. If people attend the events, its easier to get sponsors to help sponsor the events and to donate to Flint. Its also easier for more strangers and causal attenders to gravitate to these events and donate that you may not know. Further, its easier for other stores and ventures to see what is going on and promote it to get more customers for their wares. Sometimes self interest(not selfishness) can produce positive results in the world around us.
So even if you can’t support by donating a dollar. Just share their site info, or any related information, and if their is any events you like, etc. Please feel free to purchase or talk about it, maybe someone else may purchase those tickets(if tickets have price) or events They have a wonderful site check it out, you’ll learn alot of facts in a short time.
