Help Maria “Mercy” Lopez Hello everybody!!! My name is Maria “Mercy” Lopez and as most of you know I’m a dancer. I just graduated with my Associates in Arts in Spring and I just got accepted into University of Florida for Spring 2017 to finish my Bachelors in Dance. Unfortunately about 7 weeks ago, I got into an accident in which result into a really bad sprain/avulsion fracture on my ankle. I had to have a splint on for about 4 weeks and I had to wear a medical boot for 3 weeks. Last week I was able to take off the cast and now I need to do physical therapy. I unfortunately don’t have health insurance and it’s crucial to do physical therapy before leaving to school.
